September 2012: Alfa 179 #23 Bruno Giacomelli

At last: The Alfa 179 Formula 1 car # 23 (Bruno Giacomelli) by Spark Models is scheduled to arrive in September, with car #22 (Vittorio Brambilla) to follow in November. You can pre-order the #23 car here.

For the 1980 season Alfa used the 179B with drivers Patrick Depailler and Bruno Giacomelli. After the fatal crash of Depailler at Hockenheim, Vittorio Brambilla took over. After two races however, Andrea de Cesaris replaced the Monza Gorilla for the rest of the season.
