Alfa Romeo Tubolare Zagato 2

Atlas die cast model of the 1965 Alfa Romeo Tubolare Zagato 2, or TZ 2 that raced the 1000 km at the Nürburgring in 1966. Autodelta entered three TZ 2 cars that year; nr. 75 with drivers Bussinello and 'Geki' Russo, nr. 76 with drivers De Adamich and Zeccoli and car number 77 with drivers Bianchi and Schultze. This car (nr. 77) finished 1st in their class (13th overall). Cars nr. 75 (blown head gasket) and nr. 76 (broken rear axle) had to retire. In the photo on the right, car number 76 at the Nürburgring in 1966.
The chassis nr. of this car is AR10511 750110 (TZ 2 #110) and received it's own registration UD 11 1833 in 1965 after it raced the 24 hours of Le Mans under licenseplate UD 10 5338, belonging to TZ 2 #108 and the Trento Bondone under licenseplate UD 10 5339, which actually belonged to TZ 2 #109. In 1965 this car raced the Rally Trofeo Jolly Hotels (1st overall) and in 1966 it raced the Targa Florio (Retired after 5 laps).
