Die cast model of the Alfa Romeo Alfetta prepared for the Capo Nord Capo Sud Rally Raid. “With a machine like the Alfetta you can go anywhere”. This was the opinion of three daring drivers who started an epic raid driving an unprecedented 26 thousand kilometers in 30 days, an average of almost 900 km per day in very uncomfortable conditions. The car was a 1st series Alfetta (1972), to which was added a large rack, plates and grills to protect the radiator and other parts exposed to unpredictable shocks and brilliantly passed the difficult test. The crew consisted of two pilots, G. Baghetti and G. Taroni and a journalist, F. Galiani. The route: from Norway (North Cape) to Seville, then from Tangier to Cape of Good Hope at the tip of South Africa.
